How to take CBD oil – How much CBD should I take?

CBD is an acronym for Cannabidiol. A compound element found in hemp and cannabis free of the intoxication and addiction effects associated with other cannabis compounds such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). For this reason, it is legally sold and used in many countries around the world.

One of the most common questions we get from customers is, “What is the right daily dose of CBD for me?” If you do a Google search on CBD dosage, you will find many different measurements and approximate doses for different products The truth is, this is a complex question.

What is the right dose of CBD?

CBD is a natural herbal medicine, therefore it can be safely consumed as long as it is clean and contains no toxins. However, when it comes to the recommended daily dose, it is understandable that people may need some guidance. I have prepared this dosage guide, which follows the dosage guide written in the book “CBD: A patient’s Guide to Medical Cannabis” by Leonard Leinow and Juliana Birnbaum. Leonard Leinow founded Synergy Wellness, a non-profit medical cannabis collective in Northern California, and has three decades of experience growing and studying medical cannabis. They are specialists in the pioneers of CBD in this aspect of the industry. Juliana Birnbaum lived and worked around the world and founded “voices in Solidarity”, an initiative that worked with tribal leaders of the Brazilian Amazon to support the development of a community-led environmental education center

This book is an excellent resource for those new to CBD and its medicinal properties. The book is full of information about CBD from the history of use, dosage, studies on its use for a variety of diseases/conditions and much more.

Recommended dosage: There are a number of factors to consider when finding the perfect dose of CBD for you. Some of the factors that play an important role in your experience using CBD are: Your condition or problem. medically

How intense your problem is.
Metabolism
How to respond to CBD
Sensitivity to cannabis
Personal body chemistry (this includes any other medications you are taking)

How much CBD should you take?

Based on the guide in the book, we recommend the step-by-step approach, gradually increase the dose until the most desired results are achieved. The term used in the book is “titration.” This is a term borrowed from chemistry, which means taking small steps to allow slow adaptation. Using this method, you will find the amount of oil that suits your needs. Each person is different and everyone’s reaction to CBD is different.

Since there is a wide range of dosage possibilities, the authors have identified three dosage ranges, which can be useful for different conditions:
The Micro dose

0.5 mg to 20 mg CBD per dose per day (CBD/dose/day) a microdose is recommended for sleep, headache, mood disorders, nausea, PTSD, stress and metabolic disorders and daily dietary supplements.

For microdose, we recommend 5% CBD oil. 1 drop of 5% oil contains 1,6-2 mg CBD. You can take 3 drops 3 times a day, which will give you 15 mg of CBD. Of course, you can always adjust the dose to the tolerance level.
The standard dose

10 mg to 100 mg CBD/dose/day. Standard dosages are used for pain, inflammation, autoimmune disorders, Lyme disease, anxiety, Depression, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, autism, IBS, Arthritis and weight loss.

For a standard dose, we recommend 10% or 24% CBD oil. 1 drop of CBD oil 10% contains 4 mg CBD and 1 drop of 24% oil contains 7 mg CBD.

For 10% oil: 3 drops 3 times a day = 36 mg of CBD.

For 24% oil: 3 drops 3 times a day = 63 mg of CBD. If you take 6 drops 3 times a day, you will consume 126 mg of CBD.
Macro (or therapeutic) dose

The macro dosage is in the high range between 50 mg-800 mg CBD/dose/day. It is for cancer, epilepsy, convulsions, liver disease and serious life-threatening conditions.

For a macrodose, we recommend our 30% or 50% CBD paste.

30% paste: 1 milliliter contains 300 mg CBD

50% paste: 1 milliliter contains 500 mg CBD

Do not take too much CBD. It is important to note that in cannabis therapy often “less is more.” If you do not get the desired results from a higher dose than you should, consider lowering the dose instead of increasing it. This method has helped many patients find the best dose to treat their particular condition. Remember that you may need to readjust your “ideal dose” after a certain amount of time. Monitor results and adjust dosage as needed.
If you are already taking other prescription drugs, be aware of possible side effects and drug interactions. You should discuss this with your family doctor.

Simple guidance for beginners

We have developed a simple comprehensive guideline for beginners who take CBD only as a dietary supplement for overall well-being. When you start CBD, it is better to start with a low dose. It is very important that you familiarize yourself with how your body responds to CBD before increasing the dose. We always recommend to our customers that each person is different, and everyone’s reaction to CBD is different. The recommended dose of each product can differ a lot, creating confusion. The dosage may vary depending on the percentage of CBD oil you use. On average, 25 mg of CBD per day is effective for most people. The dose of CBD can be increased slowly until symptoms improve. This, of course, is different for each patient and should be monitored.

In order to choose the best CBD oil, in terms of quality (the more natural, the more qualitative), you need to analyze the following aspects: Extraction method used: The highest quality CBD oils are produced by supercritical CO₂ extraction.thus, it ensures that the finished product is free of additives or other chemicals, unlike other extraction methods. Avoid CBD oils produced using chemicals such as propane, butane, pentane or hexane because they may contain contaminants that are dangerous to your health. Hemp to be grown organically: For quality safety, hemp from which CBD is extracted will be grown by farmers certified in this type of agriculture. To determine whether it is contaminated with harmful substances.the product itself must be tested by an independent accredited laboratory.thus, it will ensure that CBD oil does not contain pesticides, heavy metals, bacteria, fungi, solvent residues or other toxic substances.

Have a certified amount of CBD: True CBD oil, produced by a reputable company, will tell you with certainty how much CBD you will get in each bottle. Look for where the number of CBD milligrams in that product is mentioned.a higher number will mean that the product is stronger. It is full/broad spectrum: That is, it will not only contain CBD.these CBD oils are much more effective than those obtained using CBD isolated in the form of crystals. The idea of CBD isolate sounds good – it’s just pure CBD – but it’s usually made using cheap raw material.a CBD isolate will miss the other terpenes, flavonoids and cannabinoids, which work synergistically together to enhance their individual properties (through the so-called “entourage effect”). Contains 0% THC: CBD oils produced from hemp may contain THC, usually below the European legal limit of 0.2% or even less, too little to feel the psychoactive effects of THC. In Romania, the legal limit is 0% (zero) THC.however, sub-standard processing can increase the level of THC to a percentage that can create a psychoactive effect, Not only is this a sign of a low quality product, but it will also make the oil illegal when it is delivered to Romania.

It is very important that you always check the laboratory tests before choosing any CBD oil. The price is not too good to be true: A high-quality CBD oil is not produced easily, which is reflected in the price of the finished product.therefore, when the price is low, it is an indication that it was obtained from inferior raw materials, Contaminated or not containing too much or not at all CBD.however, you do not need to buy the most expensive product on the market to be safe.Search for a reasonable price combined with real positive reviews of the customers of the manufacturing company.

No speculative medical claims are made: Scientific-medical research and the real experiences of many people around the globe clearly show that CBD is a remarkable natural compound. It is not approved anywhere in the world as a medical treatment.this means that it falls into the same category as dietary supplements and no company can claim to treat or cure any medical condition. If you have discovered any CBD oil that is marketed alongside claims too healing to be true, this fact should raise doubts about that manufacturer. It gives you the results of laboratory tests: Before buying a CBD oil, check its laboratory tests.

The company or online website should make them available to everyone in a simple and transparent way. A reputable company will publish test results for each CBD product. If you can’t find it, it’s time to look for another manufacturer. Most serious companies with consistently positive results will make laboratory analysis reports easy to find. The report of the laboratory analysis of CBD oil is very important, because it will tell you the existence of CBD, THC, and other compounds of the product. If you do not find this information, it is a sign that the products are of inferior quality, potentially harmful.
